Tai Chi movements are incorporated into my daily practice as a Physical Therapst and are excellent for improving balance and preventing falls.
 
 
Tai chi chuan, otherwise known as the “supreme ultimate” fist is a 
form of moving meditation that seeks to 
incorporate controlled body 
movements along with an intense focus on calming 
the body and mind. Although this integrative exercise originates
from a fast-paced fighting form of Shao-lin Temple Boxing 
martial arts, today’s application involves no equipment, is
slow mind-body practice which promotes
                        relaxation and wellbeing.
